Hailing from Los Angeles, Deathday formed toward the end of 2007, solidifying around brothers Alex Guillén and Giovanni Guillén. Deathday blends dark and often esoteric images with the dynamics of post-punk. Awash in electronic synthesis, Deathday’s music combines textured and terse sounds along with an altogether feeling of the impending loss of control, an “Imbalance of a asymmetrical world”.

Deathday has contributed tracks to Downward’s “So Click Heels” and Mannequin’s “The End Of Civilization” compilations, along with releases on Desire and Sweating tapes.

In March of 2006 the brothers Guillén participated in Glenn Branca’s “Symphony #13 (Hallucination City)” for 100 guitars in Los Angeles.
